Who We Are
• Canyon Crest Academy Foundation partners with students, parents, and staff to facilitate community involvement and provide financial support for CCA educational priorities and programs.
• The Foundation is the primary source of private funding to the school. We provide the resources to give our children the exceptional educational opportunities that are the hallmark of Canyon Crest.
• A very active Board of Directors is comprised of 20 parent volunteers who devote their time and energy to accomplishing CCA’s annual financial and program goals.
What We Do
• The Foundation has two basic roles: To serve as a volunteer group similar to a PTA and to take the spending priorities determined by the principal and staff, and raise the money needed through a variety of fundraising events and activities.
• Assistance from the Foundation impacts academics, performing and digital/fine arts, college and career counseling, student affairs, engineering and technology, CCA’s athletics teams, and extracurricular activities, including Envision Conservatory.
• The Foundation also supports capital campaigns for campus improvements, Grad Nite activities, and teacher appreciation events. In addition, it organizes college entrance practice exams, which are offered on weekends during the year.
Get Involved
• The Foundation welcomes all parent and community support! We have three open Board positions: Community Relations, Event Organizing, and eScrip Coordinator.
• Parents are also needed to help on campus at the front desk, attendance office, nurse's office, media center, textbook room, and with photocopying.
• During the year, there are many aspects of school life that depend on volunteer support, including athletics, theatre, music, box office/concessions, video/film , Grad Nite, lunch events, Back to School nights, teacher appreciation, and mailing/collating.
Ways to Give
Donors can direct their contributions to six giving categories--Unrestricted, Academics, Athletics, Envision: the Arts at CCA, Student Support, and Engineering & Technology. You can support CCA in a variety of ways:
