Academic Camps
CCA iGem Summer Camp 2026
CCA iGEM camp is an opportunity for pre-high school students interested in pursuing a STEM career or want to explore possible career options to gain knowledge in STEM. Run by CCA students and iGEM team members, students will be taught science topics like biology, synthetic biology, chemistry, and participate in labs to learn in a hands-on environment.
Open to rising 5th through 9th Graders
Elementary Cohort 5th to 6th graders
Middle School Cohort 7th to 9th graders
Monday - Friday
Club members will learn transportable writing, public speaking, critical thinking, and research skills via exposure to a broad range of Speech and Debate events and formats. Members of CCA’s nationally recognized Speech & Debate team wiFeb4ll lead the students through a gamified, tested curriculum that has Club members speaking and debating on Day 1.
Separate sections for campers entering grades 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9.
Camp counselors from CCA High School robotics team, who have attended the world championships for the past three seasons. T-shirt included.
