Does Your Employer Have a Matching Gifts Program?
This is a great way to double your donation to support CCA students – and it doesn’t cost you a thing. All you have to do is ask for it!
Many companies have a “matching” program where they will match some portion of their employee’s contributions to non-profit organizations such as the CCA Foundation. For example, your company might give 50% of what an employee has contributed, up to a maximum of $2000. So, if the employee gives $1000, the company will give $500, for a total of $1500 to the CCA Foundation. Most often, donations are matched 1:1, but sometimes companies will offer a 2:1 match during special promotional time periods.
Additionally, spouses who work at different companies may each ask their employers to match their donation, thus tripling their original donation!
Companies may also provide “volunteer grants” where the company will make a donation to an organization where their employee spends time volunteering.
If you have any questions, please contact the CCAF matching gifts administrator at accounting@canyoncrestfoundation.org. Thank you in advance for your donation and for taking the time to seek a matching gift with your employer to further the mission of the CCA Foundation: Enriching the experience of every student, every day.
Here is just a partial list of companies who have donated to the CCA Foundation under their respective matching grants programs (if you don’t see your company listed below, please check with your HR Department to see if they have a corporate matching program for charitable contributions):
